To be considered for admission to the Workforce Development program, all application materials must be in place by the following deadlines (Any applications received after these dates will be suject to deferral to the following academic semester):
| For Fall admission: | August 1 |
| For Spring admission: | November 20 |
| For Summer admission: | May 1 |
To be accepted into the program, an applicant must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Note: Your file cannot be processed until the Graduate School has received all official transcripts.
Once the admissions packet has been received by Graduate Admissions, applicants will be notified by the Graduate School by mail or e-mail that the packet has been forwarded to the department. Please allow two to three weeks for this to process to take place. If you have not heard back within three weeks of submission of application, please contact the Graduate School Admissions office at 479-575-6246. Please do not contact the College of Education and Health Professions or the Workforce Development Education program.
Once an applicant's packet is complete, the Graduate School will notify the applicant that the packet has been forwarded to the Workforce Development Education program for consideration.
The WDED program admissions committee will meet to prior to the deadline to review applications. Acceptance is based on a number of factors that include:
Only applications that are received by the posted deadlines will be considered. There will be no exceptions made for late applicants.
Applicants will be notified as soon as possible after the review date regarding their admission status.
At that time, students who have been accepted to the program will be mailed a document that details advising and registration information.
