Faculty and staff profiles are available on our Web site, but let's take an informal look at the people who make up the Workforce Development Education program.

Josh Raney is the keeper of all things RHRC (that's our department!). He keeps our main office lively with his singing, but really he should work outside. He spends 95% of his spare time in the great outdoors canoeing, fishing, camping, hiking, or watching the Razorbacks whip up on the competition. His likes: Dr Pepper, pizza, the colors blue and green, and his front porch. His dislikes: spiders, bad breath, shoes, and people who walk really slow on purpose when crossing the street. Josh, who is from Searcy, AR, has his BSBA in Marketing Management from the U of A and will wrap up his master's degree from our department in December of 2008.

Christina Grantham is the newest member of our team, serving as one of our secretaries in "the main office" and helping us keep our lives together. Her B.A. is in communication, which might explain why she listed singing as one of her special interests. She doesn't just sing, however. She also likes golf, fashion, and the great outdoors. She's not a fan of winter, but she does like sushi. If she were not on staff here in the department, she might be attending cosmetology school. Her claim to fame is that she had only 10 people in her graduating high school class.

Dr. Jules Beck hails from the great state of Minnesota. His Ph.D. is in Human Resource Development, and he also holds degrees in Philosophy/Mathematics, and Casework/Community Organization. Dr. Beck has made his way from teaching on the White Earth Reservation, to Bosnia, to South Dakota to Minnesota, and finally to the Natural State, Arkansas. He likes tennis and playing the guitar, but doesn't like lousy customer service and reality TV shows. If he wasn't settled down with us here, he says he would be working day labor for grown-ups!
