Each semester, the Registrar's Office at the University of Arkansas provides the registration schedule for the next semester. The schedule is located in ISIS. On the schedule, look for the word "GRAD", to see when registration begins for graduate students. Students enroll for spring classes during the fall, but they can enroll for summer and fall during the spring semester.

1. Using your program of study and the Course Rotation available on our Web site, develop your proposed schedule.
2. Search for the courses you have selected in ISIS to make certain they are being offered. Click here for instructions for conducting a class search.
You have the option to download a document with the instructions or to view a tutorial.
NOTE: When searching for online courses, you MUST do the following:
After selecting the "Calendar Year" and "Semester" under Class Search, and clicking on "Go", you will be taken to the next screen, "Search for Classes". The course subject will be WDED, or EDFD, or ESRM, depending on the course for which you are looking. You do not need to type a "Course Number" in if you are simply looking to see all the courses available. Course Career should be "Graduate". The next option is "Campus", and for that you must click on the drop-down menu and choose Off Campus.
The default for "Campus" is Univ of Ark, Fayetteville. Not changing this to Off-Campus will result in no courses being displayed.
3. Make an appointment with your advisor to discuss your proposed schedule. This is VERY important!
4. Register for your courses in ISIS.
5. Get a copy of your schedule. Log in to ISIS and select Student Center to view your schedule. Check your schedule for accuracy after you register or make changes.
6. Pay fees. (Be aware that your account balance must be paid in full in order for you to register for the next semester)
7. Check Semester Calendars for important deadlines for changing your schedule. Pay special attention to the last day you can drop a full semester course, receive fees for the cancellation of a course, officially withdraw from all courses, etc.
Students do have the option of taking some of their courses on campus, with the approval of their advisor. On the program of study sent to you with your admission letter, you will find that under College Core Courses there are some courses with asterisks beside them. Underneath that section you will see that there are alternative courses you can take on campus to fulfill that requirement. These are offered by another department. For example, instead of taking WDED 5523 Diversity Issues and Globalization, students can take:
Again, your advisor must approve your choice. Consult ISIS to determine when these courses are offered.
