Module 17: Writing Well
Because this is an online program, your writing often serves to represent you! Without face-to-face contact or regular phone conversations, faculty get to know you through your writing. All of us can improve our writing skills, and fortunately there is a service on campus available to help you do just that: The Quality Writing Center (QWC).
The QWC offers a variety of services to students, including distance education students, at no charge. The tutors there will not edit your work, but they will review it and point out problem patterns or provide tips to help you write better. The key is to complete your assignments in enough time that you can seek their help and avoid late work.
